Summer monsoon season is here! Please be extra cautious when traveling backcountry roads as there may be unreported washouts, loose soils, or sharp rocks! Visitors should expect and prepare for rough road conditions. Travel with a safety plan and bring enough supplies and gas to turn around if impassible conditions are found. For your safety and the safety of rescue personnel, please respect all closed signs and notices. Reminder that OHVs are prohibited throughout the Refuge.
